Ryan grew up in Telkwa, and after graduating from the University of British Columbia in 2021, gathered experience in Vancouver in a variety of settings, including both public and private physiotherapy. Ryan is returning to the Bulkley Valley to live, play, and offer physiotherapy to our community.

Thoenn’s goal as a Physical Therapist is to help you find more freedom in your body, with less pain and more confidence.

Thoenn gets excited about the opportunity to problem solve and unpack an injury to get at the root cause. She believes that it is never too late to start the journey of optimizing physical function and improving health, whether you are a dedicated athlete or taking the first steps to address your health.

Thoenn has dedicated her life to human movement, first through a career in professional dance and now as Physical Therapist and outdoor enthusiast. She is a dedicated rock climber and runner, and can also be seen cycling, out backcountry skiing, and trekking in the mountains. Thoenn brings a wealth of first-hand movement experience to her evidence-based rehabilitation practice. She received her Physical Therapy education (MScPT) at the University of Alberta and holds an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University in Dance with a minor in Kinesiology.

Sessions with Thoenn will include combination of hands-on manual therapy treatment techniques and exercise-based active rehabilitation. She will take the time to tailor your recovery program to suit your unique needs and preferences, including inter-disciplinary referrals as required. Thoenn is also a certified Pelvic Health therapist and can treat a variety of pelvic health concerns including pre-natal/post-partum care, urinary incontinence, and pelvic pain.

Thoenn’s commitment to her patients is to listen closely, be creative, educate, and encourage autonomy over one’s own health journey.

Kaley Strachan is a Registered Physiotherapist with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelors of Physical Education from the University of Alaska Anchorage. 

As a national level gymnast and then cross country and track runner, Kaley has experience in sports and rehab from both an athletic and health professional perspective. She takes interest in treating a wide variety of conditions from sports and work injuries, fall prevention, prenatal and postnatal care, neurological conditions and general health and well being.

​Kaley is trained in the following: - ​Neurokinetic Therapy which assesses for compensation patterns and overuse - Anatomical Neuropathic Intramuscular Stimulation (AN-IMS) which is a dry needling technique to alleviate pain and muscle tension, - Chronic pain management - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) - Bobath Technique for neurological conditions - Mulligans Upper Extremity Mobilizations with Movement. 

In her spare time, Kaley enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, gardening and working on home improvements with her growing family.
